26th annual Charity Golf Tournament

We had the pleasure of being the flag sponsor for the 26th annual Charity Golf Tournament for Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation.

This event raised $120,000 which will be going towards funding a new ultrasound machine for Langley Memorial Hospital.

Day filled with fun and excitement

Golfers of all skill levels enjoyed friendly competition on the beautiful course. At the end of the day, everyone came together for a dinner and auction, where they had the opportunity to bid on fantastic prizes donated by local businesses.

Thanks to the generous donations of sponsors and participants, the tournament raised over $120,000 for the purchase of a new ultrasound machine. This much-needed equipment will help countless patients receive the treatment they need, and it would not have been possible without the support of the community.

With the support of the community, they were able to surpass the fundraising goal. This will go a long way in helping the hospital provide better care for its patients. The ultrasound machine will be used to diagnose a variety of conditions, including cancer, heart disease and digestive disorders. It will also be used to guide procedures such as biopsies and surgeries.

Matching challenge met – and exceeded!

Participants, inspired by a $15,000 matching gift from Phil Jackman of Pacific Breeze Holding Ltd., took up the challenge to double their donation – achieving the full match and more.

Phil said it best:

“Together, our donations can bring state-of-the-art technology to our local hospital. Together we can develop a world-class care setting that honours our hard-working care team. Together, we can build up our hospital’s capacity to better service us, our family, and our friends.”
